Roof Replacement in GREEN LAKE

Experienced Roof Replacement for Green Lake Homeowners

Green Lake is one of Seattle’s most walkable, tree-filled neighborhoods—lined with craftsman homes, bungalows, and remodels that have seen more than a century of Northwest weather. At A Better Roofing Company, we’ve been completing roof replacements in Green Lake since 1991. Our focus is asphalt shingle roof replacement, and nothing else. We work on older homes, new builds, and everything in between—with clean installs, skilled crews, and a reputation built over decades.

We’ve replaced roofs on homes along Woodlawn Ave, near Bagley Elementary, and throughout the quiet residential streets that surround the lake itself.

Why Roof Replacement in Green Lake Requires Experience

Green Lake homes are often older, closely spaced, and surrounded by tall trees. Roofs here take a beating—especially on shaded lots where moss builds up fast. Add in steep pitches, tight driveways, and layers of prior repairs, and it’s easy to see why roof replacement in Green Lake requires precision and planning.

What makes Green Lake roofing different:

Many homes were built between 1900 and 1950 and need updated decking or venting during roof replacement
Tree-lined streets mean more debris, more shade, and shorter roof lifespans
Small lots with limited access require careful staging and daily cleanup
Remodels and additions create complex rooflines with skylights, dormers, or tie-ins

Our Recommended Asphalt Shingles for GREEN LAKE Homes

We use architectural-grade asphalt shingles for all Green Lake roof replacement projects. These shingles offer the right balance of durability, curb appeal, and compatibility with both historic and updated homes.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Better Roofing Company did an outstanding job on our roof. Their bid was competitive and they gave a list of houses in the area that they had completed so we could view. This company is so professional. The roofers finished the job in two days. They did an amazing job. After the job was completed I was so impressed with the way they cleaned up . We got so many complements from neighbors walking by noticing the roof. The customer service is great. They answer the phone and answer any questions that you have about the job. I would recommend this roofing company.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A Better Roofing Company did an excellent job with installation of my new roof. Old roof was torn off, a few Sheets of ASB replaced, and then new roof installed. The best part of the deal, besides the nice new look, was that all old materials were totally eliminated (cleaned up) from our property. It looked as if no one had even been there. No damage to any of our plants or flowers! I highly recommend this Company.
